“FOR IT IS GOD WHICH WORKETH IN YOU BOTH TO WILL AND TO DO OF HIS GOOD PLEASURE”

We were contacted by someone asking for prayer. She wrote:

 “I’m dismissed from my studies from the faculty of engineering. I applied for appeal but appeal committee rejected my appeal. I applied for appeal again to senate review committee. The committee meets next week Monday. Please pray for me that they readmit me. I've no other options. My future is blocked. I'm also going through financial difficulties.”

We sent her this email back, wanting to encourage her that all things work together for good for those who love God and are called according to His purpose:

“If you belong to Jesus Christ and believe in Him, then He is working all things together for your good! He does not always answer our prayers according to our own limited understanding, instead He sees the bigger picture! Having said that, I believe that what we earnestly desire in our hearts, He will give to us! My prayer for you is that you prosper and be in good health even as your soul is getting along well!! I ask the Father, in Jesus’ Name that you would be readmitted to the faculty of engineering, that the dismissal would be overturned and that you would have peace, knowing that “if God is for us, who can be against us.” (Romans 8:31) Amen!!!”

A couple of weeks later we got an email from the person saying:

“Thank you so much for the prayers. I got accepted back into the University. It was really a miracle. All glory and honour to the Lord”
